Shoulder Pain

If your body was a Formula 1 race car, your shoulder would be the state of the art floating suspension system. Of all of the joints in your body the shoulder is by far the most remarkable. It is capable of carrying and moving large weights, accelerating rapidly when we throw a ball, stretching far enough to scratch between our shoulder blades, and providing a stable platform to perform delicate actions with our arm and hand! No other joint displays such a diversity of function. No wonder then that when we develop shoulder pain and dysfunction we can become quite debilitated very quickly. Owing to the intricacy of the shoulder region, problems in this area will very rarely go away on their own.

At Finesse Physiotherapy we have extensive experience in dealing with shoulder injuries. Our practice principle Rohan Davies has worked with some of the best shoulder surgeons in Europe and prides himself on achieving excellent results for shoulder injury patients. Through a detailed understanding of shoulder mechanics and shoulder joint pathologies, we can guide you through the recovery process and make sure you get the best possible outcome. Of course a certain number of shoulder injuries will require surgery to resolve them. We can also provide a full rehabilitation service for you post-operatively, even up to visiting you in hospital
